A Sole Proprietorship is the simplest form of organization.
The ownership and the business have the same entity. What this means
is that the owner is responsible for all liabilities. The owner's
personal assets are subject to seizure with a lien by creditors. This
is the major drawback for this type of business entity. In many ways,
this is the easiest type of business venture to start. A Sole Proprietorship
does not require large amounts of venture capital, a business plan,
structured marketing or inherent liability to start. At the same time,
the very features that makes it easy to initiate make it difficult
to market for selling.
